Patrick Schnieder assumes patronage of the Logistics Hall of Fame

The German Federal Minister of Transport supports the international initiative to honor outstanding achievements in logistics.

Ismaning near Munich/Berlin, July 9, 2025 – Patrick Schnieder (CDU), German Federal Minister of Transport, has assumed patronage of the Logistics Hall of Fame. With this, the Federal Ministry of Transport continues its commitment to the international logistics hall of fame, which has been in place since 2009.

"The logistics industry is one of the largest economic sectors in our country and ensures our daily supply of goods. The Logistics Hall of Fame makes the achievements of the sector visible and places a spotlight on the people who advance logistics with innovation and responsibility. I am very pleased to support this cause," says Federal Minister of Transport Patrick Schnieder.

The Logistics Hall of Fame honors individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the advancement and public perception of logistics. By taking on the patronage, the Federal Ministry of Transport emphasizes the high societal and economic importance of the industry.

The international jury is currently deliberating on who will be inducted into the Logistics Hall of Fame in 2025. The decision will be announced in the fall. The award is presented to individuals or teams whose achievements have had an impact beyond their own companies and have significantly shaped the logistics sector - whether through technological innovations, entrepreneurial commitment, scientific discoveries, or strategic foresight.

The Logistics Hall of Fame is freely accessible at any time at www.logisticshalloffame.net and documents the most important milestones in logistics as well as its pioneers.
