
Logistics Hall of Fame expands its jury
A further five personalities from the media and association sectors will be added to the global hall of fame committee. In 2025, the new members will be able to help decide for the first time who will enter the International Logistics Hall of Fame and who will be named “Logistics Leader of the Year”.
Ismaning near Munich, July 1, 2025. The Logistics Hall of Fame has appointed five new members to its international jury. This year, for the first time, the new jurors will help decide who will be inducted into the Logistics Hall of Fame at the end of the year and who will be named Logistics Leader of the Year 2025.
The new jurors are:
• Kai Althoff, Chairman of the Executive Board of Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL)
• Michael Jungk, Head of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Section, Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik (BME)
• Dr. Lars Kleeberg, Chief Executive Officer, Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik (BME)
• Christoph Meyer, Managing Director of Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL)
• Heiner Sieger, Editor-in-Chief of e-commerce-Magazin
In total, more than 70 experts from business, science, politics, associations and the media from over ten countries will cast their votes in the coming weeks.
The new members and award winners will be officially honored at the Logistics Hall of Fame's traditional gala reception in Berlin in December.
Background Logistics Hall of Fame: The Logistics Hall of Fame honors international personalities who have made an outstanding contribution to the further development of logistics and supply chain management. The goal of the Logistics Hall of Fame is to serve as a global platform for documenting the milestones of logistics and honoring its movers and shakers, thus underscoring the importance of logistics for business and society. The Logistics Hall of Fame also presents the Logistics Leader of the Year Award to current pacesetters in logistics. The donor is STILL GmbH. In addition, the Logistics Hall of Fame recognizes innovative logistics projects by humanitarian organizations with the Lynn C. Fritz Medal for Excellence in Humanitarian Logistics.
