Logistics Hall of Fame appoints new jurors 2024
Prominent personalities from the media, science and politics will become part of the committee. In 2024, the new jury members will be able to help decide for the first time who will enter the international logistics hall of fame and who will be named "Logistics Leader of the Year".
Ismaning near Munich, May 2, 2024: The Logistics Hall of Fame has announced the appointment of three new jury members. Voting for the first time:
Prof. Dr. Alice Kirchheim, Institute Director of Material Flow Systems at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics, Dortmund
Artur Lebedew, Editor at Wirtschaftswoche, Düsseldorf
Markus Mau, President of the European Logistics Association (ELA)
In early summer, more than 70 jury members from ten countries will vote on who will enter the Logistics Hall of Fame at the end of 2024 and who will be honored as "Logistics Leader of the Year". The jury members come from business, associations and politics or are media representatives or academics.
Both awards are presented at the annual gala reception at the end of the year at the Federal Ministry of Transport in Berlin.
Background Logistics Hall of Fame: The Logistics Hall of Fame honors international personalities who have rendered outstanding services to the further development of logistics and supply chain management. The goal of the Logistics Hall of Fame is to serve as a global platform for documenting the milestones of logistics and honoring its movers and shakers, thus underscoring the importance of logistics for business and society. The Logistics Hall of Fame also presents the Logistics Leader of the Year Award to current pacesetters in logistics. In addition, the Logistics Hall of Fame recognizes innovative logistics projects by humanitarian organizations with the Lynn C. Fritz Medal for Excellence in Humanitarian Logistics.
