Lynn C. Fritz Medal: Nominations Under Review

The Expert Council is reviewing the nominations: The selection of this year's recipient will begin shortly. 

Many thanks to the humanitarian organizations that submitted successfully completed projects for the Lynn C. Fritz Medal for Humanitarian Logistics 2026 by the deadline. The medal is presented by the Logistics Hall of Fame, sponsored by Fritz Institute. All applications were reviewed by the members of the Expert Council and Thilo Jörgl, Chairperson of the Jury. During its annual online meeting, the Expert Council discussed the reviews and compiled a shortlist for the jury.

On June 23, the Expert Council's shortlist will be presented to the international jury for voting. The award ceremony will take place at Hofburg Vienna on December 4. In 2025, Welthungerhilfe won the medal for the projects „Emergency Supplies Prepositioning Strategy (ESUPS)“, which aims to improve national strategies for stockpiling relief supplies in disaster regions.
