Arbeitsgemeinschaft Logistik-Initiativen Deutschlands
The most important logistics metropolitan regions in Germany cooperate in the development of logistics in Germany. To this purpose, the large and established regional logistics networks regularly exchange information in the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Logistik-Initiativen Deutschlands".
The eleven regional logistics networks in Bavaria, Berlin-Brandenburg, Hamburg, Leipzig-Halle, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony, North Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhine-Main and Thuringia coordinate their common topics and activities of supra-regional importance in the working group and exchange their experiences. Their basic maxim is: "Think globally, act locally".
The group aims to further strengthen Germany as a logistics location. Above all, it is a key contact for policymakers, advisor, provider of ideas and partner for the regional implementation of measures. At the same time, due to its regional focus, the working group promotes topics of national and international importance.
The cooperation focuses on four fields of action:
- National and international marketing for Germany as a logistics location
- Further development of the transport infrastructure
- Personnel and qualification
- Innovations in logistic
