SVG Straßenverkehrs-Genossenschaft

The SVG Bundes-Zentralgenossenschaft eG (SVG) cooperative is the consulting and service provider for the transport and logistics sector. The product portfolio includes further training and development, work safety, funding and subsidy advice, Europe-wide toll settlement, and transport insurance in cooperation with KRAVAG as well as personal insurance policies through R+V Versicherung. The SVG Group operates over 30 truck stops and filling stations as well as 22 driving schools; it employs around 1,000 people and uses more than 500 moderators and trainers. SVG was founded in 1947 as a registered cooperative. Today, around 8,000 transport and logistics companies are affiliated to the 17 regional road transport cooperatives as members. The national headquarters is in Frankfurt/M. SVG is a member of the German Association of Road Haulage, Logistics and Disposal (BGL) and supports the following initiatives: Kinder-Unfallhilfe (child accident assistance), Doc Stop, Logistics Hall of Fame and the career portal.
